AI-Generated Images

I have been using the AI system Midjourney since 2023 to create thousands of images for various purposes: personalized greeting cards for frieds and family, illustrations for a book for my granddaughter and for a newsletter that I publish, T-shirt designs, calendars, memes for social media, framed artworks printed on canvas for our house, and many images just for fun. This section of my website features some of these creations. To create images in AI, you need to come up with text prompts that instruct AI what you want to see. It's an iterative process, because language is vague and AI can't guess what you are thinking about. Midjourney allows various adjustments, parameters, and options. It allows editing parts of an image, expanding it, and reusing characters from a previously generated image. This process requires a lot of human curation of AI output for good results. I may sometimes create and discard dozens or even hundreds of versions to get an image that I like to share.
